Meet Dr. Fay
Dentist in Dover
Dr. Fay is a Delaware native, born and raised in Wilmington. After graduating from Tatnall high school in 2001, he went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Delaware Honors Program. He then enrolled at the Temple University School of Dentistry and earned the Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2011. After that, he traveled to Western Massachusetts to complete a General Practice Residency at the Berkshire Medical Center. Dr. Fay purchased an established practice from Dr. Arthur Henry in 2012. Dr. Henry worked as a dentist in Dover for 48 years and was ready to retire!
Since taking over the practice, Dr. Fay has enjoyed great success here. He has a calm and friendly demeanor, gentle touch, and meticulous pursuit of perfection when it comes to dentistry. We expanded into a brand-new facility in 2017, and the staff has grown from 5 members to 17! Dr. Fay is thrilled to have Dr. Moeller join the practice, as we are simply too busy for one doctor to handle.
In his free time, Dr. Fay enjoys playing golf, skiing, bowling, hiking, fishing, shooting, traveling, and socializing with a vast network of friends and family. He lives in Wilmington with his wife, Ioanna, who is a professor in the Material Science Department at the University of Delaware. They have a young son, Bobby, born in July of 2021, and Eleni, their daughter, born in July 2024.
Fun Fact: Dr. Fay loves animals! He spent the first 3 years of college as a pre-vet major. Growing up he owned several snakes and lizards, including a ball python and a veiled chameleon. At one point while in dental school, he had a bullfrog, Florida softshell turtle, African cichlids, and an eel all in the same tank! Across the room was a Chinchilla! He currently has two fish tanks, an African side neck turtle, and a 90-pound boxer mix named Oscar.
